Clark Baxtresser
Clark Baxtresser (Narrator/Piano) is a composer living in Chicago. He has worked on over a dozen StarKid projects as a composer, music director, pianist, and (occasionally) actor. Together with Pierce Siebers, he wrote music for A Very Potter Senior Year (2012), Ani: A Parody (2014), as well the Tin Can Brothers' musical Spies Are Forever (2016). In addition to theatrical work, he composes music for advertising, including spots for M&Ms, PetSmart, ESPN, and Apple.
Jaime Lyn Beatty
Jaime Lyn Beatty (Christmas Past, Della u/s) is always happy to back with Team StarKid-this time, wearing a boatload of hats on stage n’ off! Jamie Burns
Jamie K. Burns (Grandma, Christmas Future, Belle u/s) is an actress, singer, and voiceover artist in Chicago. She has studied and performed at iO, The Second City, and The Annoyance. She has done voiceovers for several companies such as Mcdonald's, Jersey Mikes (her favorite sub place), Quaker Oats, and Trunk Club. Originally from Florida, Jamie got started in theatre/improv while attending Southeastern University. She joined Team StarKid in 2016 playing Chorn in Firebringer. Since then she has been apart of VHS Christmas Carol since 2019 as Christmas Future. Jamie is excited to reprise her role as Future and debut as Grandma. Ali Gordon
Ali Gordon* (Match Girl, Christmas Past u/s) is an improviser, author, and teacher from New York City, where Ali performs musical improv and sketch comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade theater. Ali has performed musical theater all over the country, and can be seen as a kooky salesperson in a variety of national commercials. Ali also wrote the book and co-wrote the lyrics for the new musical POWER TRIP. Check it out!
Brian Holden
Brian Holden (Magi, Fred, Tiny Tim, Young Scrooge u/s) is very pleased to have StarKid return to Chicago with Clark’s wonderful work, VHS Christmas Carols. As a founding member of StarKid Productions, Brian has either written, directed, starred in, or produced nearly every show over the last 14 years. Lauren Lopez (Magi, Emily Cratchit, Match Girl u/s) is a founding member of StarKid and is based in LA. When she has to write a bio she suddenly forgets everything about herself. Ummmm she recently played Ruth in SK's newest musical, Nerdy Prudes Must Die!, which she also choreographed. You can also see her in Tin Can Bro's Holiday Spectacular, How the Grunch Cribbed Christmas; on youtube now! She is delighted to be a part of another year of VHSmas with this beautiful team and owes everything to Big Chungus.
Curt Mega
Curt Mega* (Jim, Young Scrooge, Scrooge u/s) is thrilled to be finally given permission to wear a bandana. He appeared onstage this year with StarKid in Nerdy Prudes Must Die. Previous StarKid credits include The Jangle Ball Tour, Black Friday, and the Nightmare Time series. He was Agent Curt Mega in TCB's hit show Spies are Forever. Recent work includes Pulp Musicals by Matt Dahan and Headless with Shipwrecked Comedy. Television work includes a 4 season recurring role on Fox’s Glee, 911 Lone Star, Side Hustle, Stuck in the Middle, Criminal Minds, Game Shakers, NCIS: LA, Code Black, Switched at Birth, and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend.

Meredith Stepien (Jacob Marley, Percussion, Fred u/s, Grandma u/s, Christmas Future u/s) is so excited to reprise her dream role as Jacob Marley for the fourth year in a row, and is thrilled to be playing in the band this year alongside Clark. She's proud of her husband, Brian, for being an incredible producer on this show. James Tolbert
James Tolbert* (Christmas Present, Bob Cratchit u/s) is so thrilled that share his love of 80s synth-pop and lots of lights! A native Michigander (Go Blue!) and textbook Leo who enjoys non sequiturs, James has also co-directed the Jangle Ball Tour and Assistant Directed VHS Christmas Carol: LIVE! (‘21). He has additionally choreographed Black Friday, The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals, Twisted, and A Very Potter Sequel. As a performer, James’ favorite stage credits include Grease (Eugene), Mamma Mia! (Eddie, Sky u/s), Footloose (Jeter, Dance Captain), and Clue! TV Credits: “Ricardo” on Nickelodeon’s Danger Force, “Young Dad” on FX’s Better Things.
